Within a year of releasing the iPhone 5s, Apple introduced the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. For some reason, this made the world go crazy. People lined up outside Apple stores and stayed there all night waiting for to get their hands on what some people say is "the best phone yet".
While the iPhone has looked the same for every new release, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus are much bigger, angering many users. Many people choose the iPhone over the Samsung Galaxy series because they're smaller, so when Apple made the screen significantly larger than the iPhone 5s, obviously people were going to bitch about it. And they did. A lot. Even before the phone was officially sold to customers, they bitched about the size. But, surprise, surprise, loyal iPhone users lined up at the doors at 5 in the morning, probably earlier, to collect their precious new accessory.

Soon, many of the buyers forgot all about their previous complaints about the iPhone 6 being too big and, instead, boasted about how great it was. However, there really are no big differences- with the exception of size and specific details that mean nothing to the majority of users- between the iPhone 6, 6 Plus and last year's new model, the 5s. While the iPhone's sleek, classic look is still there, its large bezels on both the top and the bottom make it too long for its screen size, making things difficult when using the phone. Although it's larger, the phone also fits nicely in your hand, but it is a bit slippery and not good for one handed use- but hey, at least it's a snug fit in both hands!
The iPhone 6/6 Plus might look nice, but looks aren't everything. Basically, to get to the point, everything is just simply better on the iPhone 6/6 Plus, which basically means you waited on line for hours to just get a bigger phone that already has the system update available for all iPhones. iOS 8 is nice and definitely has improvements, but it's nothing special compared to the Samsung Galaxy series. What the S4 users have always had, the iPhone 6 users (or iOS 8 users) just got.
In short, the iPhone 6/6 Plus (why do they always have to release two phones?!) is bigger, easier to drop, and has the iOS update available for any iPhone, but it's pretty and, well, a new iPhone so it must be worth it, right?
