“All the world’s a stage,” and I’m gonna direct it!
Leann Boisvert, 21, Theater: Performing Arts/English: Pre-Education Double Major
A proud Newingtonian, Leann is born and raised in the wonderfully seasonable state of Connecticut. At home, Leann dedicates her time to remedial office jobs for minimum wage and wandering around Stew Leonard's. At school, she works towards her ultimate goal of becoming a high school English teacher and Director (and eventually a Superintendent where she will have ultimate control and promote STEAM). When Leann is up to her eyeballs in homework, she enjoys procrastinating in every way imaginable. Her favorite ways to procrastinate involve rereading books, crocheting scarves, and watching horrible Christmas movies on Netflix.
Fortunately for Leann, this class gave her the ultimate excuse to combine her love of TV and people with the ever-dreaded concept of homework. Of all the writing electives made available, this one was by far the most interesting and gave an academic voice to the rantings of a multi-fandom fangirl. Below are some of her favorite reviews, and on the left is a picture of her being weird with a book.
